Would You Take This Job? — Would a hands-on events role with weekend/evening availability and growth potential be a fit for you?

I’d consider it if the pay and comp time for nights/weekends are clear — Austin events rarely stick to 9–5… From experience, a one-page run-of-show with vendor cells and a “Plan B” for AV saved me when a mic died five minutes before doors. Did @XTalkPrep share a pay range anywhere?

If you’re handling ‘registration’ and vendor wrangling, ask if they cover COIs and in-house AV/exclusive fees at downtown venues — , those surprise costs blew our budget on a 300-person workshop until we baked it in. Also +1 to @Guide; Eventbrite + QR check-in trimmed lines for us, but make sure there’s paid parking or a load-in plan after 5 pm in Austin.
