Maximizing attendee engagement at virtual events

I’ve been brainstorming ways to create a more interactive experience for our upcoming virtual conference in March. Last year, we saw good attendance but really struggled to keep people engaged during sessions. I’m considering using live polls and breakout rooms, but I’d love to hear what has worked for others. What strategies have you found effective in driving audience participation?

Try incorporating small group discussions after key presentations — I’ve found that it makes attendees feel more connected and valued. As you said, keeping people engaged is crucial, and those personal interactions can really drive participation. Have you considered a Q&A session right after each breakout?

Interactive Q&As can really boost engagement, especially during key presentations in March. Breakout rooms sound great, but don’t underestimate the power of a well-placed live poll! @lindsey_k88.
