I totally get the need for real-time interaction. We recently used a similar personalized app for a big launch, and it really helped the attendees feel more connected. But I found that not everyone was tech-savvy, so we had to dedicate a person to help out.
I’ve found that integrating live polls or Q&A features during events really keeps the energy up. When we used this for a client’s conference, it sparked more interaction than I anticipated. Just be sure to have a moderator to handle the flow — @eventtechpro made a great point about that last week.
