Used 50mm neodymium magnets with thin steel strips behind greenery to build “floral walls” fast — cut our zip-tie waste to near zero and saved about 40 minutes on load-in; just remember “assume the wall isn’t steel,” so bring freestanding frames or base plates. Anyone else color-code magnet strength to speed repacks?

We pre-tag greenery panels with color-coded magnet pairs and panel numbers, then snap them onto a steel mesh frame — felt like Lego for walls and shaved about 35 minutes off changeover with no residue. Small caveat: if the venue’s uprights are aluminum or magnets are restricted, we bring reusable Velcro wraps as a fallback and add a safety line on the top row, @nicevan.
